The residents accommodating and disarming

Read a book on a dock at the bay

Or bring your rod & reel to fish all the day

It doesn’t really matter in Fulton you see

Because either way you can have it your way

You really can have it your way when you visit the Town of Fulton. This small fishing town has been hosting guests and visitors since folks began settling there in 1829. Everyone knows what great parties they throw.  50,000 people joined in Oysterfest 2016 this past March. Biggest festival around and it all takes place in Fulton.

If you really want to get away this summer and enjoy some small town hospitality and gentle gulf breezes amidst natural beauty, then this charming coastal community is the place for you. In addition to outdoor recreation such as fishing, birding, and boating, Fulton also offers some of the finest upscale restaurants and accommodations along the Gulf Coast. That’s why year after year visitors have come to share in the tranquility of this natural bounty which has made Fulton a vacation destination for almost 100 years.

In addition to the 47th Annual Rockport Art Festival on Saturday-Sunday and the amazing fireworks show on Monday evening over Little Bay, the Town of Fulton is also making sure everyone has a great 4th of July for 2016 and they’re bringing in a great carnival for the kids making it a 5-day weekend! Have fun shopping at the art festival and the children will have a blast at the carnival!

The carnival opens on Thursday and continues through Monday. Fulton Harbor Park (same location as Oysterfest) is the place to celebrate the 4th with an old fashioned kids carnival , midway, hot dogs and rides, all right on the water. How about that for a 4th of July celebration?

Whether it’s just to do some good old fashion fishing and boating or just hanging out with family and friends, everyone finds that special something they’ve been looking for. Even shoppers return home happy…Fulton merchants feature everything from fresh gulf seafood, to jewelry, beachwear, art and more!  It really is amazing what this tiny jewel of a town brings to the table in 5-star hospitality.
